Southern California GI & Liver Centers (SCLC) are California’s leading private centers for the management of GI and liver diseases. SCLC providers come from academic medicine, having taught GI and Liver disease to generations of young physicians. They have translated this expertise into a comfortable, private experience where they treat patients with the utmost care and compassion.
SCLC engaged FEED to help them relaunch their brand in their marketplace and clarify their offering to a growing number of patients who needed specialty liver disease treatment. We needed to simplify, unify, and amplify their key brand messaging and help patients understand WHY they needed a liver disease specialist and not a primary care provider.
Even though liver disease/cirrhosis is the seventh leading cause of U.S. deaths among adults between 25 and 64, educational marketing is indeed lacking. We decided to bring attention to the subject by creating a campaign entitled “Liver Disease Needs More Heart,” filming humanizing stories of patients supported by collateral material. We also created a brand anchor built upon a branded proprietary process, which we named Health And Liver Optimization (HALO), used to help describe SCLC’s approach to helping patients reach their goals, regardless of their conditions.
