In March of July 2012, FEED became the social media community manager for Okyanos Heart Institute, a treatment center delivering adult stem cell therapy for no-option chronic heart disease patients.
When we began creating a social media strategy, Okyanos had around 200 followers. Today, FEED, working in alignment as part of a digital marketing team, has helped to grow the Okyanos Facebook page to more than 2,200 followers and an overall engagement level that exceeds healthcare social media benchmark standards of excellence.
To date, our social media efforts are the #1 marketing tool for Okyanos in attracting new patients with minimal investment in comparison to traditional marketing costs.
